			L-istess żewġ programmi li għamel Ħaż-Żabbar irrepetihom ġimgħa wara fil-festa ta’ San Duminku fil-[[Birgu]], iżda kien żied il-polka ''Margherita'' ta’ Vella u għażliet minn ''La Maritana'' ta’ Wallace, it-tnejn ġodda għall-Banda Duke of Edinburgh. Aktarx iva milli le, dawn iż-żewġ programmi f’San Duminku kienu l-aħħar programmi tiegħu ma’ din il-Banda.

			Id-direzzjoni ta’ Magri Grech, jidher li ma kenitx destinata li ddum wisq. Huwa kien ingħata l-kariga fi żmien meta għadd ta’ baned Maltin kienu laħqu livell għoli ġmielu. Minħabba l-piki li kien hemm bejniethom, l-ammiraturi ta’ wħud fosthom kienu lesti jagħmlu sagrifiċċji mhux żgħar biex jaraw li l-banda favorita tagħhom, kemm jista’ jkun, tilħaq il-perfezzjoni. Biex jilħqu dan il-għan, bdew jaħtru surmastrijiet diretturi barranin.

	The directorship of Mro Magri Grech was not destined to remain for long. He was appointed Maestro in times when the local band clubs were reaching a very high level. Thus, as a result of the piques between band clubs, the supporters of these band clubs were ready to do sacrifices in order to see their favourite band as perfect as possible. And for this reason, foreing band conductors were being appointed as Maestros in the local scene.
