He made his debut at Festival [[Ħal-Lija]] where he sang a own song and had won the first prize for verses,

In 1983 he took part in the First Edition of [[Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza – 1983]] and won the first prize with the song ''Nibqgħu Ngħożżu Maltin'' with his own words and music, in addition it was also won third place for a song sang by [[Sammy Bartolo]] ''Tagħlima'' who’s beside this win, the ''Best Singer'' of the Festival.

Jo Naudi also known for writing the Rock Opera [[Żgħażgħu]] singing the main part by [[Tony Grimaud]].

Jo who is also playing the guitar, very so much the stage and history both local and international.
