	He had always wanted to play guitar from a very young age. For his Holy Confirmation, his parents gave him an acoustic guitar. After a month of lessons, he quit and didn’t think of taking it up again until he heard Guns N’ Roses’ album, Appetite for Destruction, for the first time at the age of 14. He played alongside some amazing artists in the local music scene. Kersten started taking it seriously around 2011/2012, when he was part of the group [[Negative Spaces]].

Theye released 3 tracks, with two of them receiving great airplay by local radio stations in Malta. After they disbanded, and Kersten worked as a session musician, playing alongside various talented musicians.

Some nice opportunities have come along, and he can humbly say that with the help of music, he got to know lots of down-to-earth musicians and singers with whom he had the opportunity to share the stage. Some of the events that Kresten played are ''Xirka Rock'' and the ''90s Afterdark Concert'' at [[Hard Rock Caffe']], ''Freddie for a Day'', ''Rockestra 2014'', ''50 Years of Malta Independent Concert'', ''Amber in Concert'', ''RockAstra 2015'' and many more.
