Ninni La Tibkix Iżjed is a traditional Maltese Christmas hymn written by Jesuit priest Indri Schembri.

The oldest recorded version is by Jesus Of Nazareth Choir, originally released as a 45rpm single in 1967. This was followed by a similar rendition from Kor tat-Tfal Ta' Birkirkara ta' Dun Vicenz Demicoli in 1968.

The most controversial version was released in 2011 by MCA via YouTube. It spread virally across Facebook and other social networking sites but received no radio or television exposure.
